Notes     Had stopped eating raw flax seeds/meal. Had been eating some sardines and some soy protein isolate. 9.4% body fat Tests performed at employment Health Fair     Recurrent bleeding hemorrhoids while on low protein diet Rib cartilage injured easily 6-15-98 Lowered protein intake to 40 g/day 1-19-97
I suspect that eating the raw flax since 1997 was responsible for the out-of-range red blood cell parameters. Had not been eating soy protein isolate. Supper meals heavy on carbs (sweetpotatoes).     Increased daily protein (added 60 g whey/day) Dec 1998 Significant platelet clumps 9-16-98 Changed from very low fat diet to moderate fat, including flax and fish
Family history indicates that I most likely have some degree of Factor V Leiden mutation, a clotting disorder       Hemorrhoids are gone after protein increase Left shoulder cartilage injured easily 10-17-98
