Although Doug and I have been raising miniature horses longer than I have
been teaching, I have loved horses my entire life. After I saw my first
horse at two years of age, I cried when Santa gave me a Rocking-Horse
instead of a live horse. My mother tried to explain that we could not keep a
horse in the city but I responded that we had plenty of room in our basement
for a lil' horse. When I moved from the city to the country in 1965, I used
my life savings of $200 to purchase my first miniature horse "Blue Boy".
I have loved and enjoyed raising miniature horses ever since.

horse. Our lil' miniature horses have some of the most desired bloodlines
in the miniature horse industry: "Egyptian King", "Rowdy","Bond", "Komokos",
and "San Antonio" to name a few. Our specialty is the exceptional quality
and tiny size that everyone is looking for in a miniature horse.

is both the daughter of "Dell Tera's Queen" the 1984 National
Grand Champion Senior Mare and half sister to "NFC Apache Kid",

Grand Champions in his bloodline? Of course, here at Lil' Half Pints.
Our beautiful, lil' "NFC Impressive Obsession" is a dapple gray,
miniature mare. She was sired by "NFC Rowdy Impressive", son of
the immortal "Rowdy", who is also the sire of "Impressive Streaker",
the 1991 Reserve National Champion Yearling Stallion.
Her granddam is "Hemlock Brooks Megan", the dam of "NFC Manipulator",
one of the winningest stallions that ever hit the show ring.
"Capital Ls Dynette" is the granddaughter of "Komokos King Tut", the
famous sire of "Komokos Little Husseler" that everybody in the miniature
horse industry has heard about. "Komokos Little Husseler" set two sales
records for the amount of money paid for a miniature horse. At 26 1/2"
he is the smallest and most correct miniature horse ever born.
This years colt of "Capital Ls Dynette" is one of our future herd stallions.
He was sired by the Reserve National Champion Stallion, "Chilipetin of Little
Foot", who is 27 1/2" and son of "McFarlins Charlie".
Her last foal was a tiny black colt, who is 25 1/2" as a yearling.
She has produced multiple grand champions.
"Bond Robincrest", a lil' sorrel and white pinto, is the daughter of "Bond Bulldog",
sire of the 1989 AMHA Grand Champion Senior Stallion, "Bond Cracker Crumble C",
and the champions: "Bond Picador", "Rambling Reck", and "Crusader".
She is the granddaughter of "Bond Jocko", who sired many champions including
"Bond Figurine", "Bond Golddigger", "Bond Pebblebrook", "Bond Serenity"
"Bond Blaze" of Glory", "Bond Misty Morning Do Love", and "Bond Bow Knot".
At 26" in height this black stallion, "Bond Jocko" is tall in comparison
with his father, "Bond Tiny Tim", who was only 19" tall and brought the
miniature horse to the forefront throughout the world.
