HAWKINS' CAVALRY COMPANY.

Organized September, 1861. Operations about Ironton and Fredericktown, Mo., October 12-25, 1861. Skirmish near Fredericktown October 17. Action at Fredericktown October 21. Duty at Pilot Knob, Mo., till February, 1862. Assigned to 6th Missouri Cavalry Feburary 14, 1862.
