"F" not mustered, was at Pilot Knob, Mo., and engaged October 26-27, 1864, and on retreat to Leesburg. Co. "E" in action at Potosi, Mo. Not mustered.) Regiment on duty in District of St. Louis and in Missouri till August, 1865. Mustered out July 1 to August 11,1865.
Regiment lost during service by disease 65.

KIMBALL'S REGIMENT STATE MILITIA INFANTRY.

Started organizing September, 1861, completed and mustered in October 2, 1861 at St Joseph, MO for six months service. Generally composed of citizens of North-west MO, it was selected on this account by the Commanding General of the District for duty as scouts, and the regiment was engaged in this service during almost the entire time of their enlistment. Early in the spring the entire regiment marched to St. Joseph, where they remained in camp until April 2, 1862, at which date they were honorably discharged from the service.
